Some superb performances on Friday night at Hall Green saw the kennels have an impressive five winners. In the 8.05, Cracking Baby, a December 11 pup won in 29.38 after leading at the second bend and never looking like she would be caught. In the next, Supreme Egeria led all the way to win in 29.19. Supreme Madrid, a home bred December 11 pup from the exciting College Causeway x Supreme French litter, made it a hatrick in the 9.05, winning in impressive style in 28.96. Scolari Ecko battled hard to maintain his early lead in the second A1 of the night and held on by a head in 28.82. The five timer was completed in the last race when Inky Dandy, returning after a spell away from the track, showed superb early pace and held on by a neck in 29.34. A fantastic night for the kennels and connections!

Son of delboy wins 67th Swindon produce stakes

A fantastic night at Swindon for all at the kennels and connections which saw son of delboy (Little Reaction x Blackstone Gene) win the final. He battled well throughout the race and his determination saw him hold off the fast finishing Johnnys Boy by the smallest of margins. Son of delboy, bred, reared and schooled by Stuart at Watford Gap Kennels, was his first winner of this category one competition although he also had a home bred dog (supreme chalkie) get to final in 2011. With more home bred litters currently in the paddocks, I'm sure he will be looking to retain the title. Well done all!

Swindon produce stakes

Son of delboy runs in the second semi final at Swindon on Monday, needing to finish in the first two to qualify for the final on Saturday 20th July. Although he has drawn trap five, having already won from this box in round one and having blistering early pace, he should be able to get a lead and fingers crossed that he will qualify and line up in the final. Best of luck to Stuart and all connections. It's great to see another of his home breds doing the kennel proud!
